Save messages to Saved Messages
Forward anything to your Saved Messages chat — it works as a personal cloud clipboard synced across every device.
Six short steps to install Telegram on your favourite device, create an account, link the desktop and browser, and dial in privacy and notifications. Every step has a screenshot so you always know where to tap.

Step by step

Start with the device you use the most — that becomes the authorising session for future sign-ins. Pick Windows or macOS if you live at a desk, or iOS/Android if you're on the go.
Choose your platform →
Telegram uses your phone number for verification only. You can hide it later, pick a public @username so people find you without seeing the number, and add contacts via link or QR code.

Open Telegram Desktop or Web, choose Log in by QR code and aim your phone at the code (Settings → Devices → Link Desktop Device). Your entire chat history is available on the new session within seconds.
Open Telegram Web →
Group personal, work and channel chats into folders. Silence noisy communities per-chat rather than muting Telegram globally so you never miss the messages that matter.

Under Privacy and Security, hide the phone number, switch last-seen to My Contacts, turn on two-step verification, and enable app lock with Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint.
Read the security guide →
Follow topical channels to consume news, join supergroups for community discussions, and invite bots into chats for translations, reminders and utilities. It's the fastest way to see why Telegram feels so different from other messengers.
